Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. A data processing agreement is in place with Netlify; transfer to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU standard contractual clauses.

When you access the website, information transmitted by your browser is recorded automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer URL and browser and operating system details.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies for analytics or marketing purposes and embeds no tracking services. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

Should analytics services be used in future, this will only happen after your explicit consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) TDDDG.

Fonts

The fonts used are served locally from our own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts servers or other providers, and your IP address is not transmitted to third parties.

Contact form and email contact

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process the details you provide (name, company, email address, optionally phone number, topic, budget range and your message) in order to handle your enquiry.

The form is submitted via the Netlify Forms service. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (a) and (f) GDPR.

Your details remain with us until you ask us to delete them or the purpose ceases to apply. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Disclosure of data

Your data is not passed on to third parties, except to the processors engaged to deliver our services (in particular hosting and email providers) or where we are legally obliged to do so. Data is never sold and is not used for third-party advertising.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21 GDPR).

Consent given can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.

An informal message to info@bydos.de is enough to exercise your rights.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg, Lautenschlagerstrasse 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.

SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the https:// prefix in your browser address bar. Data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties while encryption is active.
