Will you come to Gaggenau for a first meeting?

Yes. It is around 13 kilometres from Baden-Baden. The first on-site meeting is free and takes about an hour.

We use old industry-specific software. Do we have to replace it?

Usually not. We connect existing systems through interfaces rather than forcing a migration. We only recommend replacing a system when integrating it would cost more than switching.

What does a first automation step cost for a trade business?

Automating a single process starts at €1,000. We calculate the actual saving beforehand — and say so if the numbers do not work.

How Gaggenau is set up economically

Gaggenau runs on industry and skilled trades. The Mercedes-Benz plant, jointly operated by Mercedes-Benz Group and Daimler Truck, is the largest industrial employer in the Black Forest with around 6,000 staff. Around it sits a dense network of suppliers, metalworking, timber processing and family-run trade businesses.

What that means for your digitalisation

The typical business here has a full order book and an office running on paper, Excel and three inboxes. That is where automation pays back fastest: quotes, scheduling, order confirmations and invoice preparation run automatically without anyone giving up familiar software. For businesses that want to be found beyond their own town, local visibility comes on top — most competitors have nothing technical to show.
